Everyone has a father someone to look up to and adore, But not everyone has a dad like you, the greatest of them all. You’re always right there beside me in everything I do, Teaching me and guiding me to be the best, like you. You’ve always given to me more than I could ask for, All the things you never had and lots of things more. Your selfless ways has made me the person that I am today, And I thank you for leading me and showing me the way. I couldn’t have had a better dad you simply are the best, Just by having had you in my life I feel I’m truly blessed. I’ll treasure each and every moment of our time together, Precious memories that I’ll keep close, safe and sound forever. I really hoped that you could have stayed to sit a while with me, Instead I know you have to leave as that is how it’s meant to be. So that time has come for you to go and get upon your cloud, Just know that we all love you so and couldn’t be more proud. Good night god bless my dearest Pate, I’ll miss you every day, Life will never be the same again but I know you couldn’t stay.
